When we set off on this journey almost 2 years ago, our goal was to create world-class mobile applications that helped connect users to their favorite content. TweetCaster, BaconReader, 1Weather, CBS Sports, and many of our other apps are great examples of how we achieved that. The goal hasn’t changed.

Supporting world-class apps takes lots of time and money. Necessity caused us to build our own mobile advertising technology and operations in order to effectively monetize our apps, which made us attractive to a variety of players. This capability, combined with our expertise in building world-class mobile applications, is a strong fit for Sprint’s interest in connecting brands and value-added services to customers. After a long courtship, both sides recognized the value we could bring to each other that ultimately lead to this acquisition.

OneLouder has an amazingly talented group of people who know the mobile space extraordinarily well. It is awesome to be a part of a team that brings both effort and fun with them every day.  I am happy to say that every one of them is valued and is being retained as part of the new entity.  Sprint has been committed to a smooth transition and our people have been a key motivator in making this deal happen.

We are excited to continue building and supporting great content for our customers, in addition to helping other developers grow their audience and make more money through our app network.
