The intersection of social & mobile, as well as old and new media, continues to provide fertile ground for OneLouder to deliver socially-powered apps. We’ve proven our leadership in the space with best-in-class mobile offerings and look forward to expanding even more with our entry into the interesting, funny and sometimes scary world of Reddit.
Today we’re launching BaconReader for Reddit on Android. For those of you not familiar with reddit.com, it’s a social link sharing site where members can post links or contribute content and other users (“redditors”), vote the post “up” or “down” to create what Reddit refers to as “the front page of the Internet.” It contains an unbelievable wealth of creativity, commentary and complete nonsense. Start in one place and end up in various nooks and crannies that are educational, funny, or frightening.
Reddit has experienced incredible growth, recently announcing they doubled their volume over the last 6 months to 1.9 billion page views and 29 million unique visitors in the month of October. We hope to help them grow that number by providing the best way to interact with Reddit on Android devices.
BaconReader offers the features those who have become familiar with Reddit expect including stuff like subreddit grouping, keyword and domain filtering, direct picture uploading, and yes……..even the “rage face.” But BaconReader is easy to use and I think it will find favor even among the uninitiated.
We have a long list of improvements and look forward to interacting with redditors to meet their needs. Thanks for joining OneLouder as we continue to connect people with people, people with content, and people with great mobile apps.

Any chance of the premium edition being tuned to be compatible with the Kindle Fire? The free edition is available, but can’t load the premium edition.
After using this on my phone for a few months I’ve been trying it out on the new Nexus 10 this weekend. Have to say I’m really pleased with the app, great job guys!
